Peach Smoothie

Did you know peaches are considered an aphrodisiac? That they can help calm an upset stomach and even help reduce hair loss? Yup, those fuzzy little juicy balls of goodness aren’t just delcious, they’re little miracle workers. Don’t believe me? Check out these 20 interesting facts about peaches and then get back her and make this Peach Smoothie pronto!

You might think that smoothies are all we eat around here considering my posts here, here, here, here, here, here and here. That’s a lot of smoothie drinking. But don’t forget I also like sangria. So I’m all about finding balance.

Peach Smoothie

2 cups ice
2 peaches, pitted and cut into pieces
3/4 cup milk, or Almond Milk or Soy Milk
1 cup plain yogurt, or Greek
1/2 cup orange juice
3 tbsps honey

Combine all ingredients in blender, except honey, until smooth. When smoothie is well-blended add honey and blend for 30 more seconds. Serve. Make 6 cups.

    Oh man, I need that in my cup like right now, lol! Even if it is midnight and no peaches in sight at home atm… *sad face* Our fam has completely switched to Almond Milk for maybe five months now. We *love* how much better it tastes, and it seems to have helped our digestion too…
