Alright, alright, I’ll lay off the spinach smoothies today, just in case some of you can’t get past the green. How about chocolate? That’s a good thing to wake up too, isn’t it?

Chocolate Almond Smoothie

1 frozen banana
1 cup skim milk, almond milk or soy milk
1/4 cup almond butter
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup ice

Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

    That looks good!

Is this one just one serving? I was gonna try it this weekend and just added the ingredients to my Myfitnesspal account and it came out to be 700 calories with skim 0% milk and almost 800 with almond milk. What type of almond butter did you use? Thanks!

Hi Brenda. No, it’s definitely two servings 🙂
