I am currently in the process of Christmas-fying everything. The kitchen, the living room, the front hall, my phone…..yes, even my phone. I am a Christmas freak and so I say “why not?”. Christmas is only here for a short time, so if you’re like me, yule love these Top Ten Christmas Apps.

top ten Christmas apps

Christmas!! – Free

This fun app comes with a Christmas countdown, an Advent calendar, jokes, wallpaper, and even a gift list. It’s a Christmas extravaganza on your phone.

Shave Santa – Free

Let’s face it, we’re coming off Mo’vember soon and there are a lot of Mo’sisters out there just dying to give a shave, so this Shave Santa app made it on my Top Ten Christmas Apps list because adults will enjoy it as much as kids for good old-fashioned time wasting fun. Think, waiting in the long line up at the mall.

top ten Christmas apps

Christmas Booth – Free

Christmas-fy all the people! Take a picture of your spouse, your kids, your dog, the grumpy guy at the mall and slap a little bit o’ Christmas on all of them. Christmas Booth also allows you to share your creations via social media channels so you can suck everyone into your winter wonderland. Mwahahahahaha.

The Christmas List – $1.99

The biggest pain of the season is setting a budget and sticking to it. Especially for the kids. The Christmas List allows you to set budgets to each person you buy for and keep track of in the handy app, so you don’t forget that thing-a-ma-jig you bought six months ago. Smart.

top ten Christmas apps

Elf Yourself – Free

For years, I’ve been elfing myself thanks to Office Max. Now I’m going mobile with it and no one is safe. You too can Elf Yourself and make sure you elf your spouse, because they love that.

top ten Christmas apps

Xmas Radio – Free

I’m not a fan of the abbreviated form of Christmas known as “xmas” BUT I’ll give it a pass this time because this app, Xmas Radio totally rocks. There’s even a North Pole Radio to keep the children delighted for the whole month.

top ten Christmas apps

Dash Holiday – Free

This would probably be number one for me on this top ten Christmas apps list because, it’s all about the FOOD. All the glorious Christmas food we make in December and some pretty stunning images to go along with it. If you’re looking for some recipe inspiration then definitely download Dash Holiday.

Sing Along Christmas Carols – Free

It’s not “then one froggy Christmas eve” and we “don’t deck the hall with Buddy Holly”. Sheesh. Get all the lyrics for all your favourite Christmas carols with Sing Along Christmas Carols and stop embarrassing yourself.

Letters to Santa Gold – Free

Letters to Santa Gold is the best way to keep the lines of communication open with the big guy. I mean sending him a letter by post is so 1980s. This way your kids can send him a letter a day, to really nag him and make sure he understands EXACTLY what they want. What could be better? Plus, Santa writes back.

Christmas Recipes (Winter Drinks for Christmas & Holiday Season) – $0.99

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the drinks are so delightful….. What? Something has to get us through these long Canadian winters. You’ll find plenty of warm winter warmers with and without alcohol on this app Christmas Recipes (Winter Drinks for Christmas & Holiday Season). Cheers.
