The Mom Challenge – Day 3

by Candace Sampson

Today’s Challenge – Hug your child three times today

So, today’s challenge, while immensely easy and enjoyable, was also a bit of a wake up call. I realized today that I haven’t been hugging my children as much as did in the past. They are getting older and they simply don’t come looking for them as often as they used to. I need to remember that now is the time to start chasing them down for them. Also, as an added bonus, no yelling today. Wonder if that had anything to do with the hugs 😉

I also exceeded the quota of three hugs per child. I got greedy.

That picture on bottom right is a feeling I want to remember forever. Now THAT's a hug!

Great hug pictures!!  I loved this day  too – I had my three hugs per child in by 7:30 am, and just kept hugging.  The added bonus for me was the number of spontaneous hugs I started receiving from them too.  I don’t hug for hugging’s sake enough.  We kept it up today, and they kept dishing out too.  🙂
