Summer camp is like orthodontic care: it's a great idea in theory; it can change a child's life; and it is very, very expensive. So, if you are like me (read: poor ) I sympathize. My girls are gone to summer camp for two weeks and if I didn't send a camp care package they may not speak to me when I pick them up. Pride is something I’ve never really been comfortable with. To me it’s a little too close to vanity for my liking.
