Keeping Your Senior Dog Healthy With Purina Pro Plan Bright Mind

By //  by Candace Sampson 35 Comments

Most people think I’m kidding when I say that my favourite child is my dog, but my other three children will tell you, it’s no joke. For the last ten years, Honey has been the child that I dote on every single day, and why wouldn’t I? Honey snuggles on command, she’s never been sick, she’s always happy to see me, never cops a surly attitude, and loves me unconditionally. This dog has brought me nothing less than pure joy for the last ten years, and that’s why I take such good care of her …

My Dog is Finally Earning Her Keep

By //  by Candace Sampson 1 Comment

She's a good listener, a fantastic snuggler and rescuer of all things that fall in the pool. She's a also a bit of a slug. Just look at her. This is what she's doing in my office right now while I'm working. Don't let the cute exterior fool you, this dog has been getting a free ride for way too long. So when Honey was asked to participate in a mixed feeding …

Give the Dog a Beer Bone

By //  by Candace Sampson Leave a Comment

Recently, my husband took up brewing. We are not here to talk about that today. That's an entirely different post. However, on the flip side there's been a whole lotta spent grain afterwards that we need to contend with. Thankfully, we're not far from a farm, so we send some to the horses, our city composts,so a lot goes there but the real win has been for our dog. Apparently brew making men have been looking after their dogs by making them dog bones from the spent grain. Man's best friend …
