Don’t miss Cabana Bay Universal Orlando, if you’re heading to Univeral Orlandofor your summer vacation. This 50s and 60s inspired property has a lot more for families than just the Mad Men-ish type theme. This hotel is built with the larger family in mind. The families that break outside that “party of four” mold. That’s right, you can sleep up to six people in one of the 900 incredible family rooms at Cabana Bay. This summer, guests will be able to enjoy even more incredible amenities, including a second 8,000-square-foot zero entry pool, Universal Orlando’s first lazy river at an on-site hotel, The Hideaway Bar & Grill, and additional moderately-priced family suites and value-priced standard guest rooms.

Rates for the family suites begin at $174 per-night, and can run as low as $134 per-night depending on the length of stay. Rates for the standard guest rooms – which will be available this summer – begin at $119 per night, and can run as low as $93 per-night depending on the length of stay.     Very clever. Very cool. I’m sure it will be a hit with Punk Rockabilly families since they not only love the 50’s, but live it in dress and decorating style!
