Well what do you know, it’s about that time again. Time to get organized and ready for the back to school extravaganza! I must say that the thing I least like about back to school is making lunches. I am not sure why it’s a big deal but it is. This year I am prepared with a collection of fun and healthy back to school lunch ideas to get started. Here are 5 fun and easy recipes, that are NOT sandwiches that your kids will love.
1. These Pizza Roll-Ups from Made from Pinterest are a fantastic lunch idea for those pizza lovers. They are super easy to make ahead of time.
2. Healthy and smart! Chopped Salad in a Cup from 24/7 Low Carb Diner would be a welcome lunch idea for kids like my daughter who could live on them!
3. Peanut Butter and Jam on a Stick from Welchs. Easy to make and super good to eat. If you have a peanut allergy in your house, try a peanut butter substitute.
4. The kids will devour these Crescent Roll Hot Dog Pockets from Crazy Adventures in Parenting. All you need to add is a dipping sauce.
5. Cucumber and Cheese Wraps from Christina’s Cucina would be my favorite pick. Cream cheese and cucumbers rolled up in Lavash Bread. Easy and delicious.
Each of these lunches are so easy to customize to each child’s preference. They are different and they aren’t sandwiches! What a great start to the school year 🙂
