Last week, my mom, myself and my two daughters headed out for our annual chick week. First up on our adventure was Kingston!
What a fantastic way to kick our week off! Kingston offered the perfect mix for three generations! The day, as you can see from my post here was jam packed, which meant that when we made it back to the incredible Ambassador Hotel, we were done. Like, stick-a-fork-in-us done. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat after a long day.
Our room was impeccable and we all had such an amazing sleep on their beds that I had to rustle the rest of the crew awake the next day. I so wish we had another night.
This is where you come in though. You can win that extra night I so wanted and enjoy everything this incredible hotel has to offer. Like the water park, for example:
And two glorious nights sleeping on these beds:
Plus you’ll receive passes for four to join in the best walking tour in Canada, In Sir John A.’s Footsteps as well as passes for four to the historic Fort Henry. Isn’t this a fantastic way to end the the summer? So here’s the details!
The Ambassador Hotel has generously offered our winner a two night stay for a family of four! In addition, passes for the walking tour and Fort Henry will be waiting at the venues for you. Contest closes August 1st, 2013 at midnight. Prize package must be redeemed before September 2nd, 2013. Winner is responsible for their own transportation to, from and around Kingston. Open to residents of Canada only.
Visit Fort Henry with Miss R. Think she’d really enjoy it.

you will not regret taking your granddaughters on such a beautiful weekend such as we had.Wonderful memories for me and my granddaughters and my daughter. A close friend of mine once said that his wish was that he did enough things with his grandchildren that they would remember him when he passes on.I think he is right on with that thought!!!
Awww, Mom. I love when you stop by my blog 🙂
I want to go down that slide in the pool…is that wrong 😉 Great post!
Not wrong at all 🙂
My son is so into history right now the walking tour would be fun!
Thousand Islands – Have been hearing about them all my life and never been to see for myself!
LOVE Kingston. Lived there for 6 years and can’t wait to move back there for good.
Everything sounds fun but my boyfriend is a history teacher (and buff) so visiting the historical sights will be top on the list.
Kingston is such a beautiful city!
I’d love to just walk around, look at all the old houses.
Have some fancy dinner out by the water!
Would be a great weekend getaway for us Ottawans (Ottawanians? Ottawers?)
Would love to make a nice staycation visit to K-town
Kingston is indeed a real gem! Would love to win this package! Met up with my best friend there for the first time a couple of years ago (she lives in Toronto and I live in Ottawa) – our first born children were just over a year and we met up just the two of us to get away for a relaxing weekend together. We loved it! So quaint! Great restaurants and cute little shops in the downtown core. I’m due for another visit 🙂
I would love to take my beautiful granddaughters on a special weekend away, to spend special time with them.
Oh that would be lovely Faye! Good luck!
