I was almost ten the year Grease came out in theatres (go ahead do the math), and I fell hard for that movie, in particular the lead character of Sandy played by Olivia Newton-John. I was eleven when I tried my first cigarette. Eleven. My youngest is eleven now and every time I look at her I can’t imagine a cigarette dangling between her lips.
