Movies I Can’t Wait to See Part Two

Friday night, I sat and did what any normal 43-year-old mother would do on a Friday night. I watched trailers, while drinking a glass of wine. I know. Exciting isn’t it?

Since I don’t get to movies nearly as often I like to (I’ve only seen 3 of the last bunch I posted), watching trailers has become my escape. These movies caught my eye. Maybe I’ll even see one or two of them.

Looper

Argo

The Hobbit

Life of Pi

Wreck It Ralph

The Bacherlorette

Cloud Atlas

I love watching movies but if I am at home, 7/10 times I fall asleep, I have concluded that I own an evil couch.

My husband falls asleep too. I have no idea how he can do that. Once I’m in to something I have to know what happens.

Between The Hobbit and Wreck It Ralph, I can barely keep my geekness under wraps!!!

I’m intrigued by Cloud Atlas as well. Looks like an epic story.

Cloud Atlas does intrigue me, but it also scares me. I think I lost concentration brain cells with each child so that movie also frightens me. If I feel lost or confused I’ll wind up daydreaming and adding more salt to my popcorn.

Argo is now a must see (along with the Hobbit, but I’ve been waiting for that for freaking YEARS).
I SO loved the Life of Pi as a book – I’m terrified that the movie will disappoint me, just like so many others have in the past.

I hate when that happens — movie adaptation of a book and it sucks. I refused for weeks to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because of that fear. I was impressed. I try to be a little more open minded now but I will admit that the trailer for Pi is making me give it the side eye.
