Universal Orlando Vacation Planning Just Got Easier

by Candace Sampson

Things just got a whole lot easier for your Universal Orlando Vacation Planning. This week, the destination theme park announced their all-new interactive family vacation planner. As a recent convert to the Universal Orlando experience, I can tell you that this can only mean good things for you!

The vacation planner will allow you to customize your vacation based on your family’s needs. If like me you have a mix of thrill-seekers and thrill-avoiders, then the vacation planner will allow you to plan your day so everyone is happy. You’ll have access to experiential videos, personal recommendations, travel tips and sample itineraries to help make the most of your vacation time!

The planner is divided into three main categories. Watch, customize and browse. In the first stage, leading travel expert, Emily Kaufman, leads you through the park highlighting things your family won’t want to miss. This is pretty much the stage to get your family super excited about their upcoming vacation.

In the next stage, it’s time to customize your holiday. Where do you want to stay? I loved Loews Royal Pacific, but there’s a variety of other options available to you as well and the vacation planner lays it all out for you with an easy and intuitive planner. You’ll also find information on tickets and packages available for your planned time-frame. The vacation planner will even point you towards your family’s “must-dos” based on the information your provide.

Finally, browse. Check out examples of how other families made the most of their family vacation at Universal Orlando. You’ll find everything from examples of the thrill-seekers itinerary to good family fun to a more grown-up getaway. Trust me when I say that the more planning you can get done ahead of time, the more enjoyable your vacation at Universal Orlando will be when you get there. Happy planning!
