Pleasantville Contributors

Candace Sampson – Founder/Editor-in-Chief

beautiful you

Candace NEVER looks like this, but this is Life in Pleasantville and every thing here is wine and roses with an occasional dog fart thrown in to keep it real. Unable to find her version of “Pleasantville” in the real world she decided to create it, hence Life in Pleasantville is not a place people, but a state of mind. This is especially true when it comes to travel, because Candace has never met a destination she didn’t love. Maybe it’s her love of people that make it so. Owner of a seasonal business, Community Manager for Canada’s best blogging network, erm, a blogger who can’t juggle yet owns the moniker See Mummy Juggle, and a contributor to the amazing Go RVing, is it any wonder she needs things to be all matchy matchy here in Pleasantville? Her house is a disaster.

Katja Wulfers – Editorkatja wulfers

Katja Wulfers is a writer, traveller, and gourmande.

Katja is addicted to pastries and her great-many times removed-grandfather was beheaded during the French revolution, which explains a lot. She comes from a long line of nomads (probably trying to keep their heads on their shoulders) who believed in the romance and adventure of travel and she’s trying to pass that on to her children. That’s not always easy when juggling the kids’ sports, volunteering, writing, and an active social life that includes eating a lot of cheese.

To further fuel the travel bug, Katja writes travel and culinary tourism articles here and at Jack Straw Lane, where she features one of her favourite mediums for storytelling – natural light photography. Katja is a devoted Instagram fan, and you can follow her there or on Twitter at katjawulfers.
