Canadian Whisky Maple Cider

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Canadian Whisky
  • 1 tbsp. Maple Syrup Use Amber or "B" Grade if available.
  • 8 oz Apple Cider unsweetened and heated
  • 1 Cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Mix whisky and maple syrup in large, heat-proof mug or glass. Pour in apple cider which has been heated (on stove or in microwave) with cinnamon stick. Stir and enjoy.
  2. Repeat as necessary.

Recipe Notes

Directions above are per glass, however, to prepare for a crowd (or if it's just been THAT KIND of a week, you can multiply recipe and keep warm on stove or in crockpot. Be sure to label "adults only" for guests. One or two cinnamon sticks per pot should suffice.
Pear cider also makes a delicious substitute.
