Homemade Granola with Maple Syrup

  1. Preheat oven to 325F

  2. Combine oats, cranberries, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and pecan halves in a large bowl.

  3. In a small pot, combine maple syrup, butter, salt, and cinnamon and heat over low heat until butter is melted. Blend well with whisk.

  4. Using a spatula, slowly spread maple syrup mixture over oat mixture and stir until combined.

  5. Spread on a large rimmed baking sheet and place in oven.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove and flip with spatula and return to oven for another 15 minutes. Do this until granola is lightly toasted. (it may take three or four turns in the oven)

  7. Remove from oven and let cool completely on tray.

  8. Place granola in an airtight container. Serve over yogurt, enjoy as cereal, or take as an on the go snack.

  9. The Easy Homemade Granola with Maple Syrup will last up to six months in an airtight container, but it will never last that long.
