I have a love/hate relationship with running. I hate every friggin’ minute that I’m doing it, but love how I feel when I’m done. I don’t understand these people who can run without music and be alone with their thoughts and all that. *shiver*
The last thing I want to be is alone with my thoughts. I want music. Loud music and preferably, angry and hardcore. That’s what is going to keep my feet moving along the pavement until the damn thing is over.
My number one song for that is Rollin’ by Limp Bizkit. My running playlist has changed a lot over the years, but this song is a constant, right alongside Missy Elliot.
So, throw your hands up, chocolate starfish baby. What? This shit doesn’t need to make sense, it needs to move you.
