If ever there was a movie and book that spoke to me, it’s Eat, Pray, Love. Bringing together my love of food and travel in one book, Elizabeth Gilbert’s story of travel to Italy, India and Bali makes me want to pack up my bag and get out of here. It’s a nice dream but my husband, two children and a dog keep me fairly grounded here. So, what’s a girl to do? Why escape with the movie of course.
There’s nothing I love more than snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie but pulling out Eat, Pray, Love again inspired me to push away the traditional chips and dip and try something new. So I went poking around the Patak’s website and found this Mango Yogurt Dip. How’s that for mixing in a little India?
Mango Yogurt Dip
200g plain natural yogurt
1/2 cucumber, de-seeded and finely chopped
1 small bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
1 small bunch of mint, finely chopped
1/2 jar of Patak’s Sweet Mango Chutney.
1 tsp curry powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl and serve with fresh vegetables.
