Christmas Party Savings with the Flipp App and Walmart

I am the flyer queen. Every week for the past ten years or so, I would religiously make my way to the mailbox each Wednesday to pick them up. I actually looked forward to this each week, until now. Now, Flipp has entered my life and I’m never going back.

I downloaded the Flipp app and took it for a test run at my local Walmart and LOVED it. I needed to do shopping for our Christmas party so first I opened the app up at home and created my list. To start a list of clippings you simply double tap the item you need.

The app pulls all the items you double click on in together in one spot, so that when you go shopping you can easily pull your list up and delete items as you put them in your cart.

You can also easily see what the savings are as you shop. Of course, because it was Walmart I was not surprised to find deals in the store that were not advertised in the flyer, like Oka cheese which was on sale for $5.97! I needed this for my Baked Cheese in a Skillet recipe, so I may have pulled a fist pump in the deli counter. What can I say, savings make me happy.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than throwing a Christmas party but the reality is that it can be a financial strain if I don’t budget accordingly. That’s why I faithfully watch the flyers for items I’ll need on sale and I set a budget. For this shopping excursion I had budgeted for $100 and ended up getting everything I needed for $68!

What I discovered while shopping at Walmart with my Flipp app was that I could easily search all the flyers and if Walmart had the same item another store had on sale, they would price match it. So not only, did I save money but I saved time, something I could definitely use more of.  Now that put me in mood to party.

Let the festivities begin!

I discovered this app a few months ago, and I love it! I use it every week and I love that Walmart allows the price matching with it, its so much easier and better than having to carry the flyers around!

I couldn’t agree with you more Mary. This will definitely be my most used app.

Okay looking at your grocery cart I want an invite to one of your parties. I have said since I first discovered Flipp last year it really is my best friend in my purse. I use it everywhere to make sure I am getting the best deal. If you haven’t checked out the search feature you might want too.
