Who says utilitarian can’t be pretty? Nobody we want to listen to. Not only are we upping your clothing and accessories style this week, our contributors also have beautiful and fragrant suggestions for our every day lives.

Kelly Williams: After breaking the lid off my second plastic kitchen compost bin, I decided to go hunting for something sturdier. Little did I know that there are kitchen composters that are downright pretty. I came across this white and robin egg blue bin from Kitchen Basics and decided that it needed to come home with me. It comes with a charcoal filter in the lid to reduce unpleasant aromas and it’s made of metal, so I don’t have to worry about breaking it. Now, I’m being environmentally friendly and upping the style factor in my kitchen.

Dee Brun: I am coveting this Honeyed Grapefruit Awakening Goats Milk hand cream from Beekman 1802. Hands that are busy making cocktails and making sure a B&B runs smoothly need a super moisturizing break. Besides, it smells so good it makes me feel sexy.

Leslie Foster: Etsy always comes through. I recently purchased a Moth Jewelry Lightweight Multistrand Necklace.  It’s so beautiful that wearing it makes me feel beautiful.

Kelli Catana: I’ve worn the same scent for close to a decade now and have never thought of switching, until now. I received a sample of Catherine Malandrino’s Style De Paris perfume in my August Birchbox and decided to give it a try one day. I had a doctor’s appointment and while speaking with the nurse she asked me what perfume I was wearing. She then told me that I smelled like PARADISE. How can I not want to wear a perfume that smells like PARADISE?! So now I’m totally crushing on Catherine Malandrino’s Style de Paris perfume, which is a ‘sophisticated oriental fragrance made with fun fruits.’ So if you’re in the market for a new scent, you should give it a try.

Candace Derickx: I can’t think of a more classic piece for a woman’s wardrobe than a camel coat. The problem is that when you’re petite AKA short, it’s hard to find one that doesn’t make it look like you raided your mother’s closet. That’s why I’m thrilled to find this Petite Signature Wool Blend Camel Coat at Ann Taylor.  I love the look and cut of this coat and since it’s a piece that never goes out of style, I’m confident this crush is going to come home with me soon. Covet no more.
