Shrimp Sliders – Perfect for Entertaining

By //  by Candace Sampson 1 Comment

Dill, has become a bit of an obsession for me this summer. I absolutely can not get enough of it. So, when I had a party recently I looked for something with fresh dill in it. These shrimp sliders were the answer. They were absolutely delicious, easy to make, could be made ahead, and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for when entertaining? I modified this recipe slightly from a Barefoot Contessa recipe by cutting it in half, and putting it on a slider bun with arugula as an appetizer. …

I didn't have to tell you that, did I? It can add a little pressure when they come to your house for a meal, but my friend Tracey isn't judgey that way. Worth noting, they pair beautifully together. Cedar planked brie is one of those appetizers you throw down in the middle of the table and watch your guests devour at a summer barbecue. And why wouldn't they? It has melted cheese, roasted garlic, balsamic vinegar …

Roasted Grapes

By //  by Candace Sampson 11 Comments

Last year I found out that if you put grapes in the freezer they were transformed into a delicious frozen treat. It became my summertime go-to snack. I'd grab a small bowl to munch on while I worked at my desk and all was right with the world. It may sound like I'm exaggerating but I get a little giddy about simple things that deliver big taste. So, when I saw a recipe for roasted grapes in a magazine recently I'm not gonna lie....I got excited. Yup, grapes excite me. After looking at several …
