I woke up this morning to find out that I was the victim of a meme! D’oh! Anyway as it happens this little meme was a delight because it took me down memory lane and that’s always a fun trip. Really? This beauty came from me? I can barely believe it. Everytime I look at this picture I see her all grown up and get teary.

I surprised them with a trip to Disney. Girls only. They were like this the whole time. Good as gold. Love.

While in Jamaica we visited a school. This picture was taken 5 minutes after we arrived. I dream of a better future for our children when I see this.

9/11 was a defining moment in so many of our lives. Visiting the site chilled me. Such heartache, horror, heroes and profound loss.

Now THAT's a paella! Walking around Old San Juan, Puerto Rico made me happy and hungry.

My youngest daughter has an intense love of animals. We're convinced it will be her life's work. Behold! The Mouse Whisperer.

This was hard because I have a picture of a sunset in the Keys I'm pretty sure National Geographic would want but alas, this won out. Pure Canadian splendour, the fall colours in Gatineau Park.
