For wedding favours we gave out CDs to our friends and family with songs that meant something to us. As I’ve mentioned here before, songs can be interpreted many ways. Some might think it’s written for lovers, but Diane Warren actually wrote this song for her father. For me, it reminded me of my mom. Still does.
This song from Celine Dion was dedicated to my mother on our CD. This year it’s an early song for Mother’s Day. Because she loved me, I am where I am today.
Hubs and I used this for the daughter/father and son/mother dance in our wedding after our first dance. Sweet and sentimental, sure. But what else would be perfect? ; )
